A Night at The Playboy Mansion

An NWWL reporter’s tale of fleeting fame, fortune and fantasy…

 

The gates at the Playboy Mansion guard the personal and sordid secrets of the rich and famous.  But even a fancy fence can't protect its guests from a reporter's curious nature. The mission: to uncover exactly what goes on behind the legendary gates at the Playboy Mansion. Let's just say that I was pleasantly surprised to find the night's magic and mystery so willing to be revealed...

I've heard that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas and you'd assume the same rules apply at the Playboy Mansion but this reliable reporter likes to dig deep to give you the goods. Here's a breakdown of the night's arcane affair:

Red Carpet drama...

What happens when you put shiny, form-fitting dresses with divine, pouf-perfect coifs and enough hairspray to kill a kangaroo on a dozen or so exuberant wrestlers? You've got yourself a brawny, bevy of red carpet divas! If you've never witnessed a procession of primped-up divas, high on Hefner's hormonal emissions, you'll just have to trust me when I say that NWWL's resplendent roster never looked better.

All the pretty, little bunnies...

If you think I'm talking about the Playmates, you're only half right. I mean there really are cute bunny rabbits hopping around the grounds, leading you to the party's entrance and ushering you into a fantasy-filled world of wonder.

A surreal movie set that really isn't a movie set at all!

Imagine that instead of being a run-of-the-mill extra in your real life, you suddenly became an exulted extra at the Playboy Mansion! Instead of eating burnt toast with ketchup at the craft service table you somehow find yourself eating jumbo shrimp (the size of your fist) and drinking an endless glass of Hefner's finest. The women that usually snarl or make goofy faces at you when you're not looking are suddenly asking you to the grotto and peeling off their panties to reveal their leading lady assets (if you know what I mean). You're getting hot under the collar and the pressure to perform is on, but this time, you get to be the star in the splashy, sex scene instead of ending up on some director's cutting-room floor! Sound like a dream? Well, for you it is!

There's no zebra in Hef's zoo...

I played it pretty cool all night. I didn't want to be one of those rubber-neckers that stand in line to take the Mansion's titillating tour. Sure you get to see "where the magic happens" amidst the endless array of sexy hallways and saucy sitting rooms, but I decided to be my very own guide in misadventure. All I had to do was follow the animal noises. After a few embarrassing detours, I finally tiptoed my way down a beaten path to a sleeping menagerie of exotic, wildlife. No lions, tigers or bears, oh my! No, now that I think of it, the only exotic part was guessing which animal was growling at me in the dark. Have they mated an alligator and a peacock yet? I guess a real journalist would have felt around for the answer. Oh well, next time!

There's nothing like a power ballad to send you on your merry way!

It was either REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feeling" or maybe it was Journey's "Don't Stop Believing," but I wanted the night to go on and on and on and on...Sadly, when the song ended, so did my bad 80's hair band impression. You just can't fight the feeling - to be an air guitar-playing idiot! Luckily, I was in the company of a few drummers, bassists and a smattering of vocalists. I can only assume that they were all classically trained and renowned Air Masters like me but who knows with some people!

Oh yeah, this is Hollywood baby! Don't forget your gift bag...

It didn't take long to assemble the posse. What am I saying? It took forever. We're talking about a night at the Playboy Mansion here and I didn't bring my lasso. So I had to be clever because the bus we rode in on had some weird "LEAVE NO WRESTLERS BEHIND" policy. I needed something that would cause a stir. I began to rush the doors nearing the exit in an incredulous panic, screaming bloody murder: "There are only FIVE gift bags left!" and voilà, the dirty dozen come clamoring out of the woodwork. Trust me, it works every time.

As we headed to our hotel, reminiscing in silence, I took a long look back at the gates closing behind us. I came here to get a sneak peek, but I really got an eyeful! I guess what I secretly wanted were the stories, the ones I could bring back to my friends about contacting Marilyn Monroe's ghost in the loo or bragging incessantly about the wild sexcapades I did or didn't have in the grotto. But in the end, what really happens on the other side of that fancy fence is something you'll just have to experience for yourself. Just one thing Charlie: you'll need that golden ticket first!

After touching down for a two day rest from the wicked mayhem that was the NWWL debut in Los Angeles the entire NWWL crew will be on the road again this week in Milwaukee, Wiscounsin as part of Milwaukee Harley Davidson's 105th Anniversay Bash!

 

The NWWL Los Angeles debut was a trip to say the least and a great time was had by all.   As far as wrestling goes the big news coming out of our Playboy Mansion weekend event is that the NWWL has a brand new champion!

 

In a stunning upset Sista Soul managed to get the pinfall and the championship when she upended the two time NWWL champion Kandi Smyth in front of a swank Hollywood crowd that included MMA stars, Playboy Bunnies and celebrities such as the legendary Ron Jeremy.  The championship match, much like the rest of the NWWL sanctioned show, was a stellar affair that seen both the champion and the challenger give it their all.  When the final bell rang however a new champion was crowned much to the dismay of Kandi Smyth.

 

So with the LA experience now behind us the question is what lies ahead this week in Milwaukee?

 

With four sold out events scheduled for Milwaukke NWWL booking officials have been burning the midnight oil trying to come up with the absolute best women's profesional wrestling product available anywhere.

 

Bookers will be working right up to bell time in an attempt to provide the best women's professional wrestling possible.  The only difference between our spectacular debut in Los Angeles and our impending debut in Milwaukee is that in Milwaukee the girls are going to get a little more daring!  Milwaukee, WI has been chosen as the site to debut the NWWL's Topless Women's Wrestling League (TWWL) division and the company just can't wait!

 

If your a wrestling fan in the American Mid-West we will see you at Milwaukee Harley Davidson as the NWWL is proud to present  women's wrestling "The Way God Intended" for four jam packed events begining on Thursday Aug. 28 and continuing for four consecutive days as part of the huge Harley Davidson 105 Anniversary Bash in Milwaukee!

Los Angeles, California may never be the same!

The stars of the Naked Women's Wrestling League are going to cover up a little, and debut the NWWL's sister company the WTWL (Wet T-Shirt Wrestling League), as part of a huge weekend long party that will see them in both Beverly Hills, California and in the famed Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles!

Starting on August 22nd at a secret location in Beverly Hills that will only be disclosed to VIP ticket buyers and then continuing on Sat. Aug. 23rd at the famed Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles NWWL wrestleholics will want to be in attendance to not only catch the taping of NWWL's newest pay per view offering but also mix and mingle with the starlets of the NWWL at an exclusive VIP after party at the Mansion.

Joining us in Los Angeles for our California debut will be NWWL stars ANNIE SOCIAL, the stunningly beautiful luchadora LUCY LIBRE,  the heavenly SISTA SOUL and many, many more of your favourite NWWL stars.

The Main Event will be a first for professional wrestling in California and a first for the NWWL as the NWWL Championship will be on the line in a special High Stakes Tag Team Match featuring the title's top contenders!!

One team will consist of NWWL Champion KANDI SMYTH as she partners with PINKY the CLOWN while, staring from across the ring right at them will be the undefeated Tanzanian warrior MO BOOTY and her partner, the pearl of the orient, NINJA CHOPS!

The rules of this exciting match up are simple!   The wrestler who scores the winning pin fall will walk out of Los Angeles and into the NWWL's next live events and pay per view tapings in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the NWWL Women's Wrestling Champion less then a week later!

Joining us for our debut in California will be WWE  $1,000,000 Tough Enough winner and current undefeated mixed martial arts superstar DANIEL PUDER,  former Women of Wrestling (WOW) competitor and the #1 downloaded model on AOL BOBBI BILLARD, as well as current PLAYBOY lingerie hottie AMANDA "DREAM" EVANS!

The stars of the NWWL were personally invited to this event by Mr.  PUDER whose promotional company, Puder Productions, is the genius behind the event titled "Cops and Robbers". Partial proceeds from the event will benefit Cops Care Cancer Foundation.

The TWWL is going on full-frontal assault, ramping up for the Milwaukee Harley Davidson 105th Anniversary Live Event. Ron Hutchison, the women's wrestling trainer says that for the weeks leading up to the end-of-August event, the women will be prepping their bodies for the high intensity matches in Wisconsin. As the training increases in the weeks to come, so does the threat of injury says Hutchison. "I push them as much as I can but at the same time I can't risk over-extending them, so I try to keep a balance of strength training alongside match preparation."

The women of the TWWL also keep fit with the instruction of Todd Battle, the women's nutritionist and fitness instructor. "This is a critical time for the women because of their strenuous work-out schedule. Naturally they will be burning more calories and it's my job to ensure that they maximize their energy but don't end up burning themselves out before the big event."

The women of the TWWL have a team of specialists that work around the clock to keep them in tip top condition because unlike some other women's erotic wrestling leagues, the TWWL has a solid reputation for brawn and beauty. The league is known for their dare-devil moves whilst delivering the goods in a sensual way.
